The HK$2 billion Recycling Fund was established by the Hong Kong Government in 2015 with the objectives of promoting recovery and recycling of waste into useful resources and products by facilitating the upgrading of operational capabilities and efficiency in the recycling industry to support its sustainable development.

The Cleaner Production Partnership Programme was launched by the Hong Kong Government in 2008 to encourage and facilitate Hong Kong-owned factories in Hong Kong and Guangdong to adopt cleaner production technologies and practices, thereby contributing to improving the environment. The Government will inject an additional HK$100 million to extend a new round of the Partnership Programme for two years until 30 June 2027.

Both programmes are open for applications around the year.

HKSTP TecONE will organise a sharing session about both programmes on 13 August, 2025 (Wednesday), at Green Space, InnoCentre, Kowloon Tong. Secretariats of Recycling Fund and Cleaner Production Partner Programme will introduce the programme details and assessment criteria, followed by case sharing from successful applicant company and Project Management Committee Member of the programmes.
